Dr. Fernanda Santos earned her Veterinary Medicine degree from the Federal University of Uberlandia in Brazil and her Ph.D. in Poultry and Animal Sciences from NC State University, with minors in Food Safety and Biotechnology. Currently, she serves as an Assistant Professor at NC State, focusing on food safety, curriculum development, and building stronger ties between academia and the poultry industry.
